Manicure,The Fashion Needs

The manicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment for the fingernails and hands performed either at home or in a nail salon by a licensed professional nail technician or manicurist. A manicure treatment is not only a treatment for the natural nails but also for the hands. A manicure consists of filing, shaping of the free edge, cuticle treatments, and massage of the hand and the application of polish. There are also manicure services that are specialties for the hands and feet. For the hands, the soaking of a softening substance and the application of a lotion is a common speciality. This procedure can be applied to the toenails and feet; this treatment is referred to as a Pedicure. The word "manicure" derives from Latin: manus for "hand," cura for "care."
Other nail treatments may include the application of artificial nail tips, acrylics or artificial nail gels. Some manicures can include the painting of pictures or designs on the nails or applying small decals or imitation jewels. In many areas, manicurists are licensed and follow regulation. Since skin is manipulated and is sometimes trimmed, there is a certain risk of spreading infection when tools are used across many people and, therefore, sanitation is a serious issue.
History
Ex-servicewomen learning manicure techniques, 1945Manicures began 5000 years ago
In India, henna was used for manicure. The term mehendi, used synonymously for henna, derives from the Sanskrit mehandika. The Dowager Empress of China was known to keep very long naturally-grown nails.French manicures are manicures designed to resemble natural nails, and are characterized by natural pink base nails with white tips. The tips of the nails are painted white while the rest of the nails are polished in a pink or a suitable nude shade. French manicures may have originated in eighteenth-century Paris and were popular in the 1920s and 1930s] Like any style they are chosen for a variety of aesthetic reasons. Many choose them because they are very simple and give nails a natural, healthy look and can visually correct or perfect otherwise imperfect nails
Nail careNatural nails are made up of protein keratin. The nail plate requires a certain amount of flexibility and moisture to encourage healthy growth. Using 'hardening' treatments and harsh chemicals on natural nails will make the nail plate brittle and more prone to breakages. The use of nail moisturizers and clear polish proteins is essential for perfect growth. A professional Nail Technician or Manicurist will use a written, verbal and observational consultation to determine the condition of a client's natural nails. A manicure treatment should take from about thirty minutes to one hour.
Paraffin treatments Hands can be dipped in melted paraffin wax for softening and moisturizing. Paraffin wax is used because it can be heated to temperatures of over 35°C, without burning or injuring the hand. The intense heat allows for deeper absorption of emollients and essential oils. The wax is usually infused with various botanical ingredients such as Aloe Vera, chamomile, tea tree oil, and azulene. Fruit waxes such as peach, apple and strawberry are often used in salons.
Occasionally, lotion is rubbed on the hand before submersion into the paraffin bath. The hand is usually dipped more than once to allow a thicker wax coat to forms, making the coating stay warm for longer and less likely to break or tear prematurely. After the hands have been dipped in the wax, they are wrapped in either plastic or aluminum foil, or a special type of plastic bag or glove then covered with towel or special mitten to retain warmth. The hands are left for a few minutes before the paraffin is cooled and dried.
Hot oil manicure
A hot oil manicure is a specific type of manicure that cleans the cuticles and softens them with oil. It works well for dry skin and nails that are brittle as it improves both by leaving them soft and pliable. Types of oils that can be used are mineral oil, olive oil or commercial prepared oil.

FASHION IN HAIR STYLE

Before we discuss on fashion with hairstyle we must know about HAIR, what is a HAIR. With which material it is made of & about its components. Hair is composed of filaments. The material is mostly protein, which grows from follicles found in the dermis. The human body is mostly covered with air-pores, apart from the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. We have different hair types because of different biological heritage. The type of our hair material is closely linked with our hairstyle & hair fashion.

The first impression of person's personality is strictly associated the hairstyle he keep. It is the direct presentation which is shown by any body to other members of community in which he moves. If the hairstyle is not matching with body structure & impression of your figure, then a makeover can be a significant change in your appearance & personality. Hair Relaxer

My friend Debbie has the curliest hair in the world. They are stubborn, but gorgeous. Considering the fact that I have plain and simple straight hair, I have always envied her for them. But she always says one thing to me "the grass is always greener on the other side". I recently discovered that just like me, she faces major problems with her hair as well. Her curls are too stubborn for her to manage and comb through. They get frizzy and absolutely unmanageable in humid weather and if she misses applying the relaxer even once, she is the victim of the most torturous bad hair days. Since I am completely naive about hair relaxers, I started my research, as always. Here I am with the results. Read more on hair care.

What is a Hair Relaxer
A hair relaxer is a sort of cream, lotion or serum. It has to be externally applied on the hair. It helps in relaxing the curls and making the hair less curly. This helps at making it more capable to straighten the hair. These creams or serums are mostly alkaline based. It is a chemical change that occurs because of the alkaline, that relaxes the stubborn curls. There are some hair relaxers that use a chemical formulation around ammonium thioglycolate. Considering the fact that hair relaxers are mostly (always) chemical based, their usage should be pondered over, rather than rushed into. Read more on natural hair relaxer if you wish to avoid the chemicals.

Hair Relaxers for White People
Due to the basic DNA make up, white people tend to have hair that are a tad bit more delicate than brown or black people. As such, they require to use milder relaxers. More so, weather conditions in places that are predominantly occupied by white people, is far more conducive to allow the hair to stay the way they are. Hence it would be a far smarter choices for an individual to consult with a dermatologist, or a hair specialist and confirm the use of hair relaxers. While, it is absolutely fine to use a hair relaxer, one needs to consider conducive chemical make up and other factors. The same rule would apply to Asians, Latino or African American people. I know I may have bordered on sounding racist, but, it was important to clarify that due to the cultural and basic DNA make up difference, the required precautions need to be taken. Read more on relaxers for black hair.

Hair Relaxers for Curly Hair
While it was a laugh riot on my table the first time someone asked me if hair relaxers can be used for curly hair as well, I later found out that it is a doubt in several minds. Well, hair relaxers can be used by anybody who has rough and coarse hair. So, while it is mostly use by people who have curly hair, several people with slightly wavy or painfully straight hair also resort to the use of hair relaxers. It is important to identify the nature of your curls to know what kind and degree of a relaxer to resort to. Hence, it is mostly suggested and optimal to take the hair relaxer treatment at a salon. This way, the expert can judge your hair and use the appropriate solution. More so, considering that most hair relaxers are alkaline based, it is best to neutralize it by washing the hair with an acidic shampoo. Again, this is something that the salon will take care of as a part of the treatment.

Using Hair Relaxer During Pregnancy
Several chemical treatments are often asked to be avoided during pregnancy. The same rule would apply for hair relaxers to a certain extent. It is often suggested to completely avoid it during the first trimester, which is said to be the most delicate part of the pregnancy. While going through the hair relaxing treatment may not be harmful, because the chemical is scarcely absorbed in the skin. Nonetheless, it is said the inhaling the fumes in the process of the treatment may be harmful for the baby. As such, for a safe pregnancy, with no tension, it would be best to delay the use of hair relaxer during the pregnancy.
